We’re all committed to growing and evolving, to consistently up-leveling how we show up in the world. We might want to step further into our Soul’s Purpose, expand how we serve others, and up-level our income – and frequently, all of the above.
When we set the intention to up-level ourselves in any way, an opportunity usually appears. After all, the Universe responds to our intention! We decide to step up, and so the next step up must appear.
Frequently, we dismiss the opportunity that the Universe sends our way.
We dismiss it because, invariably, the opportunity will be highly inconvenient for us.
For example, I recently exchanged readings with my friend and Astro-Numerologist Tania Gabrielle.
I have some very clear intentions for what’s next for me in stepping up in my business and my Soul Purpose this year! And I know Tania is brilliant at what she does, so I couldn’t wait to work with her.
My first clue that something big was coming my way was that I screwed up my calendar and our appointment time – not just once, but TWICE. This, in itself, is not like me.
Then Tania strongly recommended that I change the spelling of my first name, from “Andrea” to “Andrrea” with two rr’s in order to change the vibrational resonance of my name.
Oh no.
Of all the things I did NOT want to do, changing my name was probably near the top of my list.
But you know what? When I wrote my new name out as “Andrrea Hess” for the first time, the energy hit me so strongly that I started to laugh AND cry. Tania couldn’t figure out what the heck I was saying for a few minutes!
There was no question in that moment that up-leveling meant changing my name.
It’s not a convenient thing to do. I don’t want to deal with the paperwork. It’s a tremendous hassle, given how many different web pages my name is on.
I’m going to do it, anyway.
A vibrational up-level is always going to be inconvenient. It’s going to involve a ridiculous and annoying amount of effort. It’s going to involve doing things you’re not comfortable with, things you’ve never done before. There’s going to be a steep learning curve, and we’re bound to fall on our face a few times.
If we’re going to up-level who we are as energetic Beings, this is part of the package.
Up-leveling is NEVER comfortable.
If you’re looking for your next step up – financially, purposefully, spiritually – look for the thing that is really, really uncomfortable. And highly inconvenient. And probably the thing you’ve been resisting the most.
Most likely, the key to your expansion is where you really don’t want it to be.
To your infinite abundance,
Andrrea
And I thought at first you misspelled it. 🙂
Your courage is inspiring, Andrrea!
LOL, Anna … yup, I’ve gotten quite a few emails over the last few days, letting me know I misspelled my own name! 🙂 I’m not really sure this required courage, to be honest. The nicest thing about this process was to realize that I was not at all concerned with what people would think. That, in itself, was a gift!
Andrea,
congratulations on the new name!
I changed mine several months ago, I was reluctant to do the paperwork but my Soul kept pushing me. Today I feel it was definitely worth the effort.
One guy at my work is joking that he will take my old last name now that it’s available, sort of like a domain name 🙂
Best wishes,
Alexi.
Thanks, Alexi!
As much as I didn’t want to hear this, I’m glad I did lol. At least now I know what to expect. Thank you for this. 🙂
Alexis – that’s the funny thing, right? We want to step up, but when we discover what will be required, we really do NOT want to hear it. I’ve had that reaction at least three or four times in the last two months. But that’s just our initial reaction – once we get moving, we realize that the alignment to our Highest Path!
Great post, Andrrea!… Rrrr!… and great name change!… My cousin recently also changed his name… maybe it’s trend in these changing times!… Love, Aurelio.
Sending a WAVE of love and support to you Andrrea as you change your name you change your life!!!
Adding an R is actually a hell of a lot simpler than changing the whole thing which was my path – LOVE that you took INSPIRED ACTION and said YES!! This is one of my most favorite things about you!
Have fun with the paperwork – I’m 8 years into my name change and STILL receive mail with my old name on it. Maybe moving out of my house for a while will solve that problem! (Which is the Big Inconvenient Uncomfortable PIA (pain in the A&$ thing that I have going right now as I uplevel!!)
My mom still can’t do my name either – but that’s ok – it’ an opportunity for me to Appreciate the Other Person’s Point Of View!
Whenever we make changes we are bound to make waves for someone that’s for sure!
Loving your Radiant Abundant Divine Light……. Can’t WAIT to see what’s next for you RRRRRRRRRRRRRRR that extra R just makes me want to purrrrrrr…..
Peace IN Amethyst
Funny- when I saw your latest emails, I thought you had made a typo. There is a whole different energy to your new name.
Andrrea!
So much has become clear to me over the past several weeks!! I appreciate your insights!
And I too thought you misspelled your name and was going to write you until I realized you changed it! It is awesome. Kind of regal and it stands out!
I have considered changing mine for years!
Wendy
When I saw that you have changed it, my first reaction, other than am I just seeing double due to lack of sleep :~), was that it must have to do with numerology. We did that with my son’s name to give him the best start possible, so I am sure you will benefit from it and be glad you did it as time progresses, even though I’m sure it was a difficult switch! :~) Bravo Andrrea! I congratulate you on stepping up!
Bless you Andrrea…sweet soul stirring vibrations flow your way and I am inspired to hear your growth. Words have power and our names are magnetic sounds of love and hope. Well done on listening and following through. Keep on shining loving and growing. In peace.
Thanks so much for demonstrating what may seem like a small change can have big results. I did a name change over 20 years ago and it took me awhile to grow into it. I knew it was my name but I was really scared to “own it”. Now it is a natural part of me.
Hi Andrrea,
wow what a difference, wouldn’t have thought a name change makes much of a difference, well one letter anyway, but it does for sure. Your energy has totally changed, even though I know you, looking at your name makes me feel differently about you. Now you’ve got me thinking. Enjoy the new you I think it could be an exciting year.
There’s something inspirational within that. I don’t know why that next step leaves always leaves someone shaky until it’s done. I went through my own drastic number of changes recently. Which leads me wondering how do you tell if your raising your vibrational rate and it’s normal discomfort with that or if your are dealing with a vibrational rate being lowered heavily?
A name change is clearly a bigger hassel than changing your email adress, but recently I’ve been working on transitioning from one email adress to another, this is within 6 months of having done my first online business transaction (which was resulted in finnally launching my business) () That’s on top of reevaluating my entire beleif system, revamping a good deal of it (anything about love, god, or money pretty got altered), learning to forgive a the man I love for acceidently ruining about the last nearly 2 1/2 years of my life (when I’ve never forgiven before), and well let’s just say that’s only what I remember off the top of my head and that’s all since the start of 2010.
Ive just come by your website by accident or was it? I think you are truly inspirational, you say things really simply but so clearly. Im so glad I found you! 😉
