Effortless Attraction

When do we effortlessly attract what we want for ourselves? It happens when we’ve truly integrated that particular energetic vibration into our Being. I don’t think I really understood this until a client recently asked me: “What do you do to protect yourself from negative energy?” That question gave me pause, because the truthful answer is “Nothing.”

I clear negative energies on behalf of clients, their properties and businesses all day long, but I do not engage in any kind of daily energetic self-protection. I just don’t think about it. I know that I am completely protected. If any negativity does manage to affect me, I address it immediately and it creates barely a blip in my life. I am so safe that I give spiritual self-protection no thought at all.

Isn’t this the definition of being safe - to have no thought at all of being unsafe? If I give no energy to being unsafe, how can I attract anything but complete safety? Which is, perhaps, why I feel so darn safe …

Let’s look at the opposite scenario for a second. If I were to protect myself before every session with a client, wouldn’t I be giving energy to the idea that I might be affected by negative forces? And wouldn’t that allow those negative forces into my life to some degree? Absolutely! We attract that to which we give energy.

When we’ve completely and totally integrated a vibration such as “spiritual safety” into our Being, we give it no thought whatsoever. We have accepted if fully. No amount of effort, not even thought, is required.

We can easily extend this concept into other vibrational qualities. For example, we may have accepted a level of abundance into our lives where we no longer even consider that we might not be able to pay our mortgage. The thought never enters our minds. Perhaps we have accepted love into our lives to the point that we don’t even consider whether our spouse or child or parent loves us. The thought never occurs because we’ve fully integrated the vibration of that love into our Being. Maybe we know with a deep certainty that we have plenty of time for our hobbies, and so we engage in them with no sense of having to “make time.” We simply have the time.

We have truly integrated something - a level of abundance, or love, or happiness - into our Being when it exists in our lives with no effort. It’s not that we take these things for granted - it’s just that we give their opposite no thought or energy. We simply attract them over and over again because they are part of who we are, and that’s that.

What exists in your life without effort? What do you accept so completely that the possibility of its absence never crosses your mind? More importantly, how can we get to that place of acceptance for what we have not yet integrated??

    Andrea,

I am so glad that you addressed this “safety” issue! I too am asked about this by clients from time to time, so this is very affirming for me.

A non-issue is a… non-issue. It seems obvious to me that if you believe in a positive power — such as the presence of guardian angels or benevolent spirit guides — and you work within that light, then the “flip side” or shadow side is just not on your radar.

My sense of protection or safety feels automatic.

I was asked in an interview about how I deal with being called a “fraud” — I was stunned by that question. I don’t “deal” with that at all because it doesn’t happen to me.

I’ve also noted this is true with money issues. While I have had difficult financial periods in my life where every debit card transaction was performed with fingers crossed, or when every check may potentially bounce, now that this is no longer the case, I don’t think about it. I have no reason to.

In what other areas of my life do I feel this effortless integration? My creativity comes to mind. My ability to think for myself…

When you consider the things that are most effortless in your life, it’s interesting… It’s easier to see how you “get” to the places that required effort.

Lots of great stuff to think about — thanks!

Andrea, I am so glad you addressed this issue of being fully integrated with safety. I totally get it, though I don’t know how to “make” myself stop worrying about little aches and pains in my body that might be the indication of something worse. I want to fully integrate feeling safe, and I keep repeating affirmations but sometimes doing this brings up the negative scenarios. Any advise on how to integrate safety in all aspects of my life? Thanks. Anita

Thanks Andrea, I have practiced traditional western medicine for many years and have never thought to protect myself psychically from the negative vibrations of a patients disease, so why should energy work practice be any different. I really believe the intention to serve as a condiut for healing is enough protection. Im sure many practitioners disagree with this as I have frequently read that one should perform some type of ritual as a safeguard before working with clients.

Hi Andrea, I’m glad that you are addressing about dealing with negative beings or energy in this post. I’ve been warned that in order to handle healing work for others, I need to know how to “protect” myself.

You are right to point out that if we are aligned to the light, there is nothing to fear. In fact, no thought of any fear crosses our mind. We just are what we do and love.

    Thanks,
    Evelyn

With all the energy shift that has happened in the past week, its been a real challenge to keep my focus on just allowing what is.

However, I must be in alignment somewhere because a lot of information has been coming to me on this very subject.

I’m excited to learn more and get to that effortless place.

    Thank you for sharing.

“We can easily extend this concept into other vibrational qualities. For example, we may have accepted a level of abundance into our lives where we no longer even consider that we might not be able to pay our mortgage.”

Andrea, this statement hit me in startling realization. Even though I’ve had no problem paying the mortgage for some time, I would enjoy giving myself a healthy raise. This line made me see that the level of my acceptance of abundance is determined by my not giving attention to less than I desire.

It sounds basic but I needed to hear this message to realize it’s time to shift my prosperity assumption up a couple of levels. Thank you.

    Tom,

    “…shift my prosperity assumption…”

    Brilliantly articulated!

Slade, glad this article resonated with you! It’s interesting to look at what is effortless, and where we still think we require effort. What if we could graciously accept that everything we want is already effortlessly on its way? Hmmm. As always, it seems to come right back to detachment …

Anita, saying affirmations DOES sometimes remind us that their opposite is our reality. In the back of our minds, we’re saying “Yeah, right! … that’s not going to happen!” and then we actually attract the opposite! So what if you just acknowledged and sat with the aches and pains to see what they have to tell you, with no agenda of making them go away?

Nica, I somewhat agree with you. However, I’m not saying we shouldn’t protect ourselves - I definitely have protection in place. And I’ve cleared lots of energy workers who had been essentially sucked dry by their patients. But once that protection is in place, we have to accept it as fully there and working - and then it is and it does!

Evelyn - again, like I said to Nica, I do think that putting self-protection in place is a good idea (and I know you’ve had Soul Realignment work done, so you’re all set!). But then we can definitely forget about it and turn our attention to Light!

Wendy - transitions can feel a bit like a storm blowing through our lives, churning up a lot of dust and turmoil! Allowing is exactly the right state … eventually, the storm passes! :-)

Tom, I’m with Slade - the phrase “prosperity assumption” ROCKS! I will be stealing that, if you don’t mind. It fits so many places - I think we have assumptions about love, safety, time, freedom - like a threshold that we ourselves decide on. Awesome, awesome comment, thank you!

    Blessings,
    Andrea
