Metaphysical businesses featured on MSNBC.com - hurray for Halloween! My thanks to Laura Tiffany for including me in her article. I personally love it that a business like mine would appear on a mainstream news site.

I enjoyed the article. I live in a house that is over 60 years old. When we first moved in, there were 4 spirits in the house, a man, a woman and 2 children (a boy and a girl). With the help of a friend we got the children and the woman to move on. The man was a little harder to get to leave and I am not sure that he doesn’t occasionally come back to visit for short periods of time. I have also had a little boy come to me to help him go to the light. He was simply lost. I have had a large black dog (spirit form) walk through my den while I was watching TV and was also in the shower one day and it felt like something scratched my back. A friend looked at my back the next day and thought it looked like a cat scratch. That has only happened once.

We have lived here for 8 years and several different people have seen shadows walking through our office which is near the center of the house. One of our friends won’t visit if we aren’t home. She experienced the shadow when she was here alone house sitting.

We also have a spirit that we haven’t heard in awhile that likes to slam doors that aren’t open and are often locked. It sounds like the door is being slammed but it isn’t.

Our current resident spirit likes to tap you on the shoulder or leg while you are trying to sleep. This is in our spare bedroom.

Patricia - this makes me intensely curious. Do you like all this activity going on in your home? Or is it just that you’re not sure how to put an end to it?

It interests me - I personally am big on taking ownership of our space, and in my home, there’s a definite “no entities allowed” policy, with the exception of personal Spirit Guides, of course. But all entities definitely need to have a reason for being there. Occasionally, I receive contact from upper-dimensional beings from one Council or another, but otherwise, it’s energetically very quiet in my home.

Have you ever considered having your property cleared?

I clear it periodically. I am not sure why they seem to come back. It is “noisy” all the time. A friend seems to think because my husband does Civil War Re-enacting, many re-enactments on the original battlefields that he brings them home with him. This activity started almost as soon as we moved into our house 8 years ago. Daniel has only been doing re-enactments for about half of that time. I am not even sure why I posted my original comment this morning. Once I started typing, it came out. I thought about emailing you to just ignore the comment and erase it if you wanted. My husband seems to “enjoy” having the spirits around. They are a good source for his storytelling abilities.

I periodically smudge the house. I just bought some Tibetan bells for clearing the house when I was in India. I have had the Archangels to take a white sheet and bring it through the house and property from 40 feet below the surface of the land and collect whatever energy doesn’t belong here and take it to the sun to be transformed. I have told the spirits to go to their angels and go with them into the light. That works except for the most stubborn. We also live near a cemetery a few blocks from our house. About 2 months ago, I asked the Archangels to open a portal to the light for any spirits that were hanging around that wanted to go to the light. I asked the Archangels to close the portal when the spirits quit leaving. I have done this on Civil War Battlefields for any spirits that were ready to leave and go to the light.
