About “Women’s Intuition”

What exactly is this thing we call “women’s intuition?”
Simply put, intuitive insight and “gut feelings” happen when the part of us that exists on the spiritual plane, our Higher Self, communicates with us through our subconscious. Our subconscious translates this information at the emotional level. We suddenly feel intensely right - or intensely wrong - about a given situation. Because women are more in tune with their emotions, we often receive these messages more clearly and frequently than men do. That doesn’t mean that men are any less intuitive than women are - but women do tend to connect with their Higher Self through their subconscious more naturally than men.
The trick is to sort out which information is truly intuitive and coming to us from the spiritual plane via the subconscious, and which messages are merely the subconscious mind playing out its own fears, beliefs, and desires.
For both men and women, the best way to discern the difference is to cultivate these gut feelings and intuitive insights consciously. We start by tuning in to how we feel about the small choices that present themselves to us each and every day. Will there be more traffic than usual on the freeway? If your intuition or gut says “yes,” then leave a little early. When put into practice over small, low-stakes decisions you begin to tune in to what information is coming from your intuition, and what information is coming from your subconscious. When you get a sense of what true intuitive information feels like, you can begin to rely on it in more important matters, such as your health or the well-being of your family.
Blessings,
Andrea
