Struggling Against Reality

At the heart of every struggle seems to be that nasty little word “should.” We have our ideas of what our life “should” look like. We know what we think “should” happen. We know how we ourselves and other people “should” act. Struggle appears whenever the reality we’ve created and our concept of what that reality “should” be do not coincide. In other words, we’ve created something other than what we thought we had intended.
We create according to our intent - consciously or unconsciously. Usually, there’s some of both going on! We have a conscious idea of how we would like our life to be. We have goals, a vision of our desired future. We also have unconsciously held limiting beliefs, subconscious negative thought patterns, and so forth that are creating our reality right along with our conscious intentions. This is why we sometimes create a reality that differs from what we had consciously intended.
Make no mistake about it - we still create all of it. It might appear to you that you are unable to manifest what you want, or that you keep attracting experiences that you did not intend. But obviously, there are unconscious parts of you, thoughts and beliefs and other negative influences that you are not aware of, that are working on creating a reality that differs from what you consciously desire.
This is the true struggle: To become conscious of the parts of ourselves that are unconsciously working to create our reality. If you are not creating what you consciously desire in life, there is a reason. The Law of Attraction works flawlessly, consistently, and impartially. You attract according to the energy of your thoughts, emotions, words, and actions, whether these are conscious or unconscious.
Instead of struggling against the reality that IS, let it be your teacher. Rather than banging your head against the wall of your reality and shouting “But this is not how it should be!”, let your creation teach you about those unconscious parts of yourself that are not working in alignment with your conscious mind. Your reality is nothing but a mirror that you have created, so that you may see yourself clearly. The word “should” distorts that mirror, or makes you look anywhere but into it. Your reality is what you have created. Be with it, and know yourself.
Blessings,
Andrea
