Spiritual Wisdom - It’s Yours!

It strikes me that we often succumb to the notion that others know more than we do. This may be true of subjects such as Economics, History, or Mathematics. When it comes to matters of Spirituality, however, I believe the playing field is level.

We are all Souls, after all. We all come from the same Source. We reconnect to that Source on a regular basis, recharging with vital force. We may not do this consciously … but we are all made of the same stuff.

We are all equally close to spiritual knowledge, wisdom, and insight. It is easy to rely on a teacher to supply answers to our questions. What really takes courage is to look within, and then trust the answer that arises. No spiritual question arises within us that we do not have the capacity to answer ourselves. When we are ready to access new knowledge, curiosity will arise. Questions will form. It is easy at that time to look for external sources of information.

The challenge here is this: Can you trust your inner wisdom? Can you ask your questions and trust the information that comes from within? Can you be satisfied without needing some external validation of your own intuitive knowledge?

We are all here to inspire each other. We are here to support each other’s growth. But, no matter how “great” a spiritual teacher or leader seems to be - no matter how knowledgeable or wise - remember that you have access to the same wisdom and knowledge.

Next time you find yourself searching - look within.
