life purpose defined - example

So I didn’t really want to talk too much about myself in my newsletter, but I did want to illustrate how the characteristics of soul group origination and centers of energetic training could translate into “real life.” I thought I might as well use myself as an example.

So, here’s the soul perspective on why I absolutely love my job! My soul group of origination is Mintakan. There’s lots I could talk about within that, but the biggest aspect of the Mintakan soul group is that they see the Light in everyone, and in every situation. That is what we are here for: to remind others of the Light in themselves.

Now, my energetic realms of training are the seventh and fifth energy centers. The seventh energy center is all about Divine Power and moving energy. The fifth energy center is the realm of the spiritual teacher, about communication and self-expression.

Can you see how this all comes together? Within my job doing readings, writing, and doing “spiritual research” (for lack of a better term), I get to “be” all of these soul characteristics. Making clients aware of the magnificent beings they are at soul level satisfies my Mintakan need to remind others of their Divine Light. Reading the Akashic Records and doing clearing work embodies my seventh energy center training. All of my work has a strong teaching element to it. I get to communicate both personally and more broadly with my clients through conversation and writing. This all embodies my fifth energy center training. No wonder I get a huge kick out of what I do!

So this speaks to my profession, obviously. But these elements carry over into most other areas of my life.

Interestingly enough, when I look back at the various careers I have had, each career choice had strong elements of one or more of the above soul characteristics - but never all three, and I always felt a sense of dissatisfaction, even when things were going well. I started as an opera singer, which was embodying the fifth energy center. But it didn’t do anything for my Mintakan soul traits, or my seventh energy center training. As a massage therapist, I moved a lot of energy - this made me a very effective therapist. But I was missing the element of teaching and communicating. When I went into coaching, it definitely was all about reminding others of the Light in themselves - but I didn’t get to move much energy. Ditto on teaching yoga.

So there you have it - a “real life” example of what I talked about in my newsletter.
