Surrendering to the Divine is a lovely concept. But I think all too often we take a “Let go and let God” approach to manifesting money that completely ignores that WE are God!
Surrender is not passive.
Every day, we must choose to surrender our ego to our Divinity.
Every day, the ego must surrender its desire to stay in its comfort zone to the desire of the Soul to live its Purpose and to know abundance.
We surrender our ego’s desire to watch television, talk on the phone, curl up with a good book, or take a nap to our Soul’s desire to express itself fully.
We surrender our ego’s need to fit in, to seek the approval of others, to play by the rules of society, to be like everybody else, to our Soul’s desire to find fulfillment in our uniqueness.
We surrender our ego’s insistence on a plan going “according to plan” to our Soul’s desire to experience itself in new, more abundant circumstances.
We surrender our ego’s ideas of what it “should” take to manifest money – how much time, how much effort, what actions are necessary – to our Soul’s desire to share its gifts so that we may experience our Divinity and our inherent abundance.
We surrender our ego’s need to make those around us happy, to please our loved ones, to our Soul’s desire to craft its own experience and play by its own rules so that we may experience our greatness.
Surrender is to KEEP GOING when the ego wants to give up.
If we are not willing to do what is really scary and uncomfortable, again and again, we have not yet surrendered.
If we are not willing to do what is highly inconvenient for ourselves and others in order to manifest money and do our Soul Purpose, we have not yet surrendered.
If we are not willing to do everything we possibly can to create the results we want – and I mean “everything,” which means there’s always something! – then we have not yet surrendered.
Surrendering to the Divine means surrendering our humanity to OUR Divinity, so that our physical lifetime becomes the vehicle for Divine self-expression it was always meant to be.
To your infinite abundance,
Andrrea Hess

Love this quote Andrrea! If we are not willing to do what is highly inconvenient for ourselves and others in order to do our Soul Purpose, we have not yet surrendered.
So true. When we truly give in to our true Path/Purpose, we have to give up the Ego’s needs and sometimes our emotions’ safety nets.
Wow!… Andrrea, you’re articles always, “hit the spot!”… Thank you for discussing what it means to truly surrender… especially when our ego wants to “give up”… What a cool perspective of surrendering to our Divine purpose… Love it!… Aurelio.
I know what I have been told my whole life manifesting money “should” take, but when I did what I “should” and kept waking up broke I eventually decided if doing what I “should” doesn’t work I might as well do what I love.
I’ve had my share off issues, and it turns out quitting is the one thing that never occured to me.
I love this so much I shared it with my newsletter list
You have a gift of being direct and powerful. (And it’s 1:11 as I type this) Thank you for being a consistent reminder spot for me and for making a program I still use a year after purchasing! (MMM) <3 Rachel
Oh, what a great explanation of Surrender! I must not have fully grokked it when the article first came out, but now it is striking me profoundly. Thank you!
