Years ago, when I was still a massage therapist, I had a very wealthy client. Every week, I would go to her gorgeous home and work on her, and she would talk about her problems. Her problems mainly revolved around her champion show dogs, managing her multiple properties, and finding a man to date who could handle her wealth. At first, I thought to myself: “Geez, I would love to have her problems!” But over time, I realized that her problems caused her just as much stress and worry as my problems caused me. The problems were very different, but the effect was the same.
Fast forward about eight years, and I find myself talking to a fellow business coach about how I can’t seem to get much past $30K in monthly revenue and was stuck. She chuckled at me and said: “Andrea, that’s a pretty high quality problem.” And while she was right, and I was grateful for the quality of my problem … it was still a problem that caused me stress and worry.
I have actually gotten unstuck since then … but guess what? Even with a monthly revenue of over $50K, there are still problems. They are just different problems!
Here’s the beauty of the Law of Polarity. Everything has it’s equal and opposite polarity. Which means for every desire, its fulfillment also exists. For every problem, the solution has to also exists. For every pain, its healing exists. And they exist together, at the same time! You cannot have one without the other.
Isn’t that nice? If you have a desire in your heart, it must be available right now!
But guess what?
Here’s something that I have never heard any spiritual teachers really talk about.
For every solution, there also exists a new problem.
For every fulfillment, there also exists a new desire.
For every healing, there exists a new pain.
Whether you make three thousand, thirty thousand, or three hundred thousand dollars a month, you will always have exactly the same level of worries, stress, problems, painful issues and unfulfilled desire.
Which might make you wonder why anyone would ever bother to raise their income-level at all, right? The quality of our problems might change, but we still experience them as very real problems! We still worry, we still get stressed out, we still have unmet desires.
Which brings me to one of the most pervasive pattern of sabotage I see when it comes to manifesting money.
There are many, many people I speak to whose real, motivating desire is to no longer have to worry about money. Their desire is to no longer have to deal with financial issues. Check in with yourself for a moment. Is that what YOU long for? To be free of money concerns?
Well, guess what? Based on the Law of Polarity (there’s no getting around it, it’s a LAW!!!) the intention to have no money worries, to be free of all financial problems is impossible to manifest.
Because as soon as one financial problem is solved … a new one arises. It’s the Law.
We will always have financial issues. We will always have money problems. It’s just that the quality of the problems will change.
Are you sabotaging yourself with an impossible money intention? Are you asking the Universe for something that it cannot, by LAW, deliver?
If your income is stuck, if you are consistently sabotaging your money-making efforts, you might have to look no further than your intention.
Embrace the problems. They are a part of experiencing your Divinity in this human context.
There would be no joy in a solution without a problem.
There would be no joy in fulfillment without desire.
There would be no joy in healing without pain.
The point of creation is to create. Polarity ensures that the process is never complete, that we are never “done.” Embrace the problems, because they are not going away. They are simply going to change in nature.
To your infinite abundance,
Andrrea

Excellent point, Andrrea! I have much better quality problems than I did a few years ago, and for that I am truly grateful. The blessing in it is that as our income grows, so do we, so we’re able to step up to the newer, higher quality problems and solve them, too. Ever upward!
Hi Andrea!
OMG, that just sums it all up for me! You’re right, as long as we are here we will be forever creating. It does not end just because we have achived a certain amount of financial abundance. So here’s to embracing all problems to create more of what I want!
Thanks!
Amanda
Amanda – yay! Exactly!!!
Andrea, I love this.
It so reminds me of a realization I had when I owned a bricks-and-mortar business where I had many employees, (and little business training or experience). I had a story going in my head that there was some perfect level of business where all the problems would be solved – and of course, everyone else seemed to already have it figured out, right? LOL
Well, after years of experience and better conversations with my peers, I came to see that it’s all about choosing the problems that I’d rather deal with. In the employees example, that meant I could choose to deal with the challenges that having employees brings – AND gain the ability to get away more easily…or I could choose to not deal with employees, and be more tied to my business. It was my choice.
Thanks for this – it broadened my perspective, for sure!
Scout, you are so correct!!! The best thing is that, with greater abundance, we can simply design based on personal preference. Some people might actually prefer to NOT have employees (my personal favorite is automation, lol, because I am not someone who enjoys managing a big team!). But whatever the choice, there will still be a new level of problem. Which is okay…
Wow, Andrea!… I love your beautiful insights in this article!…
There would be no joy in a solution without a problem.
There would be no joy in fulfillment without desire.
There would be no joy in healing without pain.
Thank you so much!…
Love, Aurelio.
This is a really good topic. I love the “Law of Polarity”—so this means that failure, there is an opportunity too. Also for every question, there is an answer. This was actually something is quantum physics I never understood until I read this article: in any given time, both possibilities exist.
Wow Andrea – this is definitely a “wow”-worth post! So simple, so profound. While I’ve often and recently contemplated and experienced these in life, business and relationships:
For every solution, there also exists a new problem.
For every fulfillment, there also exists a new desire.
For every healing, there exists a new pain
The point about checking my intention regarding money set off wake-up alarm bells! Funny how in some areas of life (family/relationships) I easily accept that there will always be pain, growth and healing and can see these areas as lifelong (specifically spiral) journeys, I never applied that metaphor or way of thinking to money (duh!). I always had a black/white, before-and-after way of thinking about money.
We have so many fairy-tale “happily ever after” myths around relationships but now that I’m aware there are just as many around money, and that I had one, I can shine the light of awareness on it and finally feel some peace, and most of all, freedom.
Freedom because of what another commenter said “I can choose”. If nothing else, more money does indeed seem to bring more choice, and with that more opportunity to grow into what we prefer and leave behind what we don’t, provided we’re conscious and clear about what we want. To me, that’s the real value of growth with money.
Thanks again for shining your light on this essential truth.
Hi Karen! I LOVE that you point out the happily-ever-after fairy tale stuff in relationships that also affects us in the financial realm. You are SO right – people think of the “after” time when they have money like it is the culmination of a fairy tale.
You are completely correct that money is choice and therefore empowering. Because the more money we have, the more choices are available to us, the more impeccable we can be with our authentic self-expression!
Thanks so much Andrea. I love your posts. They are always so accurate. I am busy deleting alot of my newsletter so I can focus more on my own life and mission- but I will leave yours on!
Thank you so much Prem!!!
As always…a super star shining brightly ..guiding all who see~~ L*
Okay so obvious here’s the crazy question in all of this, isn’t there a point where a certain level of stress is an indication of a person being out of alignment rather than just normal stress level, and if there is how can a person tell the difference? That being said even though problem free might be the idealized life style (even if it’s not realistic) it’s probably fair to say that the person will low quality problems would given just about anything for higher quality problems but the person with the high quality problems won’t be so interested in trading them in for lower quality problems (not that there won’t be exceptions). And honestly having trouble reaching any goal is a perfectly legitimate reason to be frustrated.
Of course high-quality problems are preferable to low-quality problems!! And yes – being out of alignment is VERY stressful – usually requires new action and new choices to shift the situation.
The point is, though, that our intention can’t be to no longer have any problems – because then we don’t create anything at all.
I’m not grokking this. I get it intellectually I think but the embrace, as far as I know, regarding bad financial situation does not seem to affect it one way or the other. So, teach me: either I am embracing incorrectly, or the embrace really does not work. It is to neutrally embrace the reality of the situation? or to even love and nurture the challenging situation? Unclear. Please help. Thank you!
