Mariusz ... that attitude is present EVERYWHERE, not just Poland. I'm all for gratitude. But WE choose to live in a world of limitation OR a world of abundance. Right next to the person who thinks they have to stay in an unhappy job, you'll find a self-employed millionaire. They breathe the same air, live in the same city, but they will never connect ... because they live in different realities of their OWN choosing. So uphold that your friends are powerfully choosing their own reality. Don't try to convince them differently. Just choose differently - if that's what you want. I would also recommend you surround yourself with people who see the world as abundant, not as limited. Again, that's a choice available to you!

In Poland we have about 20% unemployment. Most my friends and people I know, do jobs they don't like or even hate. But they don't complain. They even say it is a blessing they have a job at all. Saying about any changes, makes great resistance with standard answer: "if I leave this job, who will pay my bills? I have no choice. I have monthly expenses and the present job gives me ability to pay that. I have no guarantee that I will find another one. Why I should risk loosing the job? I have a family to support etc". So it is really nice to live according to our soul purpose but the transition to this final point could be very difficult. Especially when people see life through limitation glasses. So there are limited number of jobs, limited number of money.....So when you have something, don't worry and be happy :-)

Andrea,
This was a very inspiring post! Thanks :) It's one of my soapboxes, too.
I am dedicating myself to doing what is authentic - and I am loving it! It makes all the difference in the world. You go from "trying to get through the day" to loving and living life.

Chris - great quote. I wish you joy and success in art school - though I doubt you need to go ;) Could you be putting off doing what you love because you think you need to go to school? Is it fear - of not being good enough

Blessings,
Keena

Right ON, Andrea. Thanks for the elegant and eloquent way of telling the higher Truth. I feel validated and inspired to continue to align with this principle!

Thanks for the encouragement. Reclaiming power from the 'have to' or from outside social/economic pressures can be a challenge.

I have noticed, though, that even the 'have to' people still don't go too far off track of what they really want to do.

I agree that the more lined up we are with what thrills us, the better the income flow.
