Here’s what determines absolutely EVERYTHING present in your life. Every person, every event, every circumstance is the result of your vibrational state of Being.
Your vibrational state of Being is the energetic totality of who you are. It is comprised of your physical body’s energy, the energy of your thoughts and emotions, and the energetic properties of your Soul itself.
Our vibrational state is a precious thing. It determines EVERYTHING we experience! And it is very much subject to our free will.
How cool is that?
Unfortunately, we don’t treat our own vibrational state of Being with a whole lot of love and respect. Most of us just let our vibrational state happen unconsciously. We let the state of our physical body, our emotions and thoughts be massively affected by our environment. We say what we don’t mean. We do what isn’t aligned to our Soul purpose, or what we really want. We surround ourselves with people that don’t support the Truth of who we are. As a result, our vibrational state of Being becomes kind of a mess.
Our thoughts vibrate one energetic statement while our Soul is vibrationally in a completely different place. Our emotional energy fluctuates like crazy, in reaction to our environment. And our actions may be in complete misalignment to all of the above.
How can we manifest anything at all when our vibrational state is all over the map?
What if we took better care of our vibrational state?
Look around whatever room you’re sitting in. Does your environment support who you want to be?
Think about all that you did today. Were your actions an authentic expression of what you want to create in your life?
When you express yourself, are your words based on your personal Truth, or on other people’s perceived opinions?
That sounds like an awful lot of applied consciousness, doesn’t it?
But here’s the thing. The more we bring our vibrational state of Being into alignment within itself, the easier life gets. We attract more abundance. We align to our purpose. We stand in our Truth. Instead of twisting ourselves into what we think the world wants us to be, we just drop all that effort and do our Beingness.
When we align our vibrational state of Being, our Soul’s Divinity IS our thoughts, which gives rise to emotion, which moves us into action and self-expression. That sounds simplistic, I know. But why assume that creating a life of abundance and joy has to be complicated?
So where do we start? With small acts of “vibrational hygiene”!
Look around your environment. Is there anything that needs to be thrown out, rearranged, or reorganized so that your room becomes more of an expression of who you are? Do it! Stop reading for a second and just do it, right now.
As you go through your day, ask yourself: “Is this choice an expression of who I truly am?” So often, we don’t think of what we order for lunch or what we wear or what we watch on television as significant choices. But ALL of our choices either create alignment within our vibrational state, or create a misalignment. No choice is insignificant.
You are an energetic Being, through and through. You KNOW how to come into alignment within yourself, how to bring your Soul, your thoughts and emotions, your words and your actions into vibrational integrity.
Give your vibrational state a little tender, loving care and see what happens!
Blessings,
Andrea

Thank you for the reminder! Was starting to get caught up in the ‘whirlwind’. Every thought, feeling, action, and breathe really DOES matter and can change the climate IMMEDIATELY! Blessings to you Andrea!
This is soooo helpful, Andrea! Vibrational hygiene– this is great! A teleclass/more on this and why some of us are packrats (sentimental ties is the clincher for me) to stuff I don’t really need (I’m doing a better job tossing stuff though as I prep to move from NY to CO)!
Makes a lot of sense to me and validates my decision to update my healing space !
What a great reminder Andrea! When I looked around the room I was in shock at how much it doesn’t represent who I am (or at the very least who I no longer want to be a vibrational match for). I wrote down your question “Is this choice an expression of who I truly am?” and posted it on my computer to keep it in the front of my mind. Thanks!
Andrea,
FANTASTIC post about how living spiritually consciously, being authentic, and the law of attraction all fit together! I had just asked my Higher Self for the lynchpin of how all these things fit together in a way I could explain it to others, and this post does that perfectly. (I’ll be linking back to you).
Thanks so much! Love your excellent writing and wisdom.
Kara
Vibrational hygiene! I love it
These are wise words.
You said, “Look around your environment. Is there anything that needs to be thrown out, rearranged, or reorganized so that your room becomes more of an expression of who you are?” Yes, BUT… what if the expression of who I am is NOT an expression of who my husband is? Or my kids for that matter….and vice versa. Any suggestions?!
Blessings,
Keena
“Is this choice an expression of who I truly am?” That’s such a simple question that has such far-reaching consequences.
Like Crystal, I’m looking at my surroundings, seeing how much *doesn’t* express who I really am. I’m going to post this phrase in several places, so I’ll see it throughout my day. Thanks for another great article to help me align with my authentic self!
Hi Andrea! So love to read your articles always! I do have a question, I hope you don’t mind. Have you ever known about any people who feel ashamed to be/do/express/show themselves as who they really are authentically? What do you usually advise them? For example, now thanks mostly to your advice/articles I am doing quite well financially, getting better every day! My business is doing very well and going up and up. Nonetheless, I’m working at a profession which definitely does not show who I really am or what I’m really like, doing something I really don’t like doing. I’ve always felt the need to pretend to be someone else and to act different from who I really am and what I’m really like, because when I tried to just be me people always laughed at me and made fun of me. When I pretended to be different from me people respected me and I was successful. And this is what shows up in my financial life, when I pretend to be someone I’m not I’m successful financially, but when I try to earn money doing what I really love people treat me like I’m stupid. Thank you so much Andrea!
“Is this choice an expression of who I truly am?” That’s one of the best suggestions I’ve ever heard. As always, thank you so much for your insights, they are really helpful.
I just came here from Kara’s blog (Kara up there above
) where she linked to this article. Very helpful. (And hers is, too.)
I tend to focus on the big things but you’re right, paying attention to all the little things is just as important for our well-being and thus our manifestation abilities. In fact, I think it was Paramhansa Yogananda that said something along the lines that a person’s life is not determined so much by their big aspirations as by their daily habits. Kind of similar…
Thank you!
Hm, interesting.
When thinking back, I do realize that what you’re saying is true. Every little thing affects our vibration, and it’s therefore smart to, welll.. do small positive things, like some cleaning or rearranging as you mentioned! I feel that it’s really important to be You, more than the ‘you’ you are perceived by others to be. Thank you for the post.
