It’s amazing how we give our creative power away when it comes to money.
Today, I really wanted to make quesadillas. I had all the necessary ingredients … except for shredded cheese. In the end, I found myself too lazy to go to the grocery store and made do with a turkey sandwich.
But here’s my point: Never once did I doubt my ability to acquire shredded cheese. I knew that it was well within my ability to get in my car, go to the grocery store, and that I had the financial means necessary to buy cheese. True, effort would have been necessary. But there was no doubt that the effort would bring forth the desired outcome. Even if I were in a town I didn’t know, I would be very confident that I could look up a nearby grocery store and figure out a way to get shredded cheese.
Why don’t we assume the same ability to create the outcome we want when it comes to money?
We’ve all made money before. We know it, we understand it, we live with it every day. It is as familiar to us as, say, shredded cheese. (Dear vegan reader, please don’t ruin my analogy!)
And yet, we assume that it’s difficult, if not perhaps impossible to acquire money. Even if we put forth effort – which most of us are completely willing to do – we do not necessarily believe that money will show up. Even if we get a map from someone who has already made money – we do not believe we can get there ourselves.
How much does this lack of certainty affect our results?
Given that whatever we believe is true … it affects our results a lot.
What if we assumed the same level of certainty around making money that we do around going to the grocery store and getting shredded cheese?
Money would become inevitable … even if we are making it in new, unfamiliar ways.
Blessings,
Andrea

Blessings Andrea…
Thank you for sharing…your message reminds me of that popular commercial that says…”Just do it…” Albeit, lots of times, depending on our mind set…its alot easier said than done.
We can learn from others…i.e. the map you mentioned, but ultimately, its all up to us. Talk is cheap…actions always speak loader than words. Even if we know we “should” oftentimes…depending on our desires, reasons, and values…we don’t take the appropriate actions.
Mentors such as you Andrea, through your messages and examples…continue to inspire, guide, help, and remind us that it is action in our life…that is the ture path to our goals, dreams, and aspirations.
Thank You…Continued Success…
Love & Light,
Dr. Dan
Yet another reason to be thankful that I’m not “lactose intolerant” — Ha!

We’ve all (vegans and non-vegans alike
had successful manifesting experiences. It is so helpful to be really aware of these successes – at a large or small scale. That builds confidence, trust and certainty that since we did it before we can find a way to do it again.
This helps me a lot, Andrea. I think my key block has been doubting whether I could make money in the new ways I want to. Now, I’m envision myself easily doing that and feeling the confidence that is generated in my vision. Thanks!
Good point. Thanks for boiling it down to the bottom line. One of my favorite questions of all time is this. How can I create money today? When we ask that question we get some answers. All that remains is to trust enough to do some of those things.
Hi Andrea,
Thanks for the article. It really makes sense. I do have a problem believing in my ability to make money. I think partly because it seems like, when I had my biz, a part of me felt like I was taking inauthentic action. Maybe I was too focused on the outcome, which was making sales, feeling like I had to be someone I’m not just to make a sale, but more so, the fear of messing up or looking like a fool was a biggie. So my intentions were screwy, all about the money and not about being of service. The other part is, coming back authenticity, is I’m not sure how I can use my gifts and strengths in a way to create money. Which brings us back to doubt. I guess I would really need to work on some limiting notions about that.
LaToya – isn’t it amazing how we think we have to be someone or something other than who we are in order to create abundance? The absolute opposite is true! The trick really is to create a business that is a wonderfully juicy, completely authentic self-expression of who you already are! That feels scary, but it is what works!
Hi Andrea,
Thank you for you comment. And it’s so funny just now I just got inspiration just by focusing on the thought that you posted : “creating a business that is wonderfully juicy and a completely authentic self-expression of who I already am”. And I’ve been focusing on the essence of what it would feel like to be living that lifestyle. Thank you so much for the inspiration.
