How does our ability to manifest money relate to our Soul’s purpose?
The first thing we have to understand is that our Soul purpose is NOT a job description. It’s not a mission, a task that is assigned to us by Spirit, nor does our Soul have anything to accomplish in this lifetime.
Out Soul’s purpose is to express itself into this physical lifetime, and to experience itself authentically in this incarnation. By experiencing itself, the Soul gains a greater understanding of its Divine nature.
Note that nothing about our Soul’s purpose is about becoming anything that we are not.
But now we enter into human collective consciousness. And what are we taught to do? To strive, to get “better,†to “make something†of ourselves. In school, we are taught that being “well-rounded†is a good thing and the most attention is paid where we are lacking. There’s this idea that “self-improvement†is a good thing. Even “spiritual development†gives us the impression that there is something to be achieved.
We are not taught to value our natural genius. In fact, most of us don’t even know what our natural genius is … we’re too busy “improving†ourselves in the areas we deem ourselves lacking. It took me over thirty years to realize, for example, that I’m a natural writer. Who knew? I certainly didn’t … I was too busy struggling to “become†an opera singer.
So let’s get down to manifesting money.
Can financial abundance ever spring from something we are lacking in? Of course not! We manifest money when we mine the depths of our natural gifts, the energies and attributes that we are already abundantly blessed with. Financial abundance comes when we embrace our Soul’s purpose – the authentic expression of our Divine nature – and let the rest go.
When I tell my clients about their natural genius, they are often actually quite disappointed. That’s because we take our most abundant gifts for granted! After all, we already HAVE them. It’s like being appreciative of oxygen … air is so abundant and available that we rarely give it a second thought.
Instead, we tend to covet the gifts we don’t have. Often, we orient the way we try to make a living not towards our natural genius, but towards the gifts we wish we had, or feel we should have. We struggle. We work “hard.â€Â And we completely ignore that there is an easy way to step into the flow of our natural abundance.
For example, I’m horrible at delegating. But the entire business community keeps telling me about the importance of building your “team.â€Â You know what? I may be terrible at delegating … but I am awesome at doing things myself!
Each of us has an abundance of gifts and talents … right now, in this very moment. When we bring these to our work and business, abundance cannot help but flow.
For the next week, stop doing what you are not good at. Just drop it. Focus on what you do well without even thinking about it. See what happens.
Spiritual traditions tell us that suffering stems from desire. I puzzled over that for a long time, because the desire to create something new and different is so natural to the human experience. To be completely without desire seemed to me … well, undesirable.
I’ve lately come to understand that suffering stems from the desire to be something other than what we are! And let’s face it – we spend a lot of time and energy trying to “improve” and change ourselves. If only we could relax into the totality of who we already are – uniquely, Divinely gifted in our own ways – we could also relax into the totality of abundance that is available to us all.
What are your unique, Divine gifts that you perhaps take for granted?
Blessings,
Andrea

Hey great article Andrea. So very timely for me. I came up with a practice of thanking the universe for everything I am taking for granted.
Just for this very reason.
Unique divine gifts that I take for granted are:
Trying to bring good humorous positive energy to any situation I am in. In other words just showing up not being afraid to be me in social situations.
My musical abilities, my technical abilities, ..hmm probably a lot more..but that\’s a start.
Thank you so much Andrea. Your article could not be more appropriate for me. I’m 60 yrs. young and have been involved in self-development for nearly 20 years, looking and searching for my true purpose, going through numerous therapies still dissatisfied with myself and my life.
Now, I feel I have been given permission to simply be and accept who I am instead of trying so hard to fit into someone else’s mold. It’s about time! but then again, it’s never too late, is it?
Thanks a million!
Love it! We already come here with everything we need. We are here to experience. Life is not supposed to be hard. When we are in tune with the natural rhthym of life and love. Things just fall into place. It sounds like a lot of mumbo jumbo in contrast to my indoctrinations, but this so resonates with me. And it works for me, especially when I stop doubting my own inner wisdom.
Kudos Andrea
Hey Andrea
When I often give talks I often talk to people about talent. We all have natural gifts. I discovered a couple of years ago that I’m good at stand-up comedy but I also have a desire to learn and get better. I would have never discovered that gift had I not taken up a challenge given to me.
Likewise I realised I too am naturally good at writing but I never would’ve taken up blogging had it not been for two of my close friends that introduced me to the blogging world 4 years ago.
I believe that you will get signs all along the way pointing you to your natural talents and gifts. All we have to do is listen and keep an eye out for them.
Amit
Thanks, Andrea! It just confirms and reminds me that I can accept myself as I am and that my soul purpose is to express myself authentically!
Very good article, thanks.
But the question is, what is my purpose???????????
I have tried all the guidelines and principles, but I am still in the dark.
The question remains, how do anyone find his or hers purpose in life??
Thanks
