After stating in my last post that prayers are always answered – even though we may not always recognize those answers – I now have to follow up that post by talking about the exception to that rule.
The Problem
Prayers are always answered … except when the energy of our prayers goes nowhere. Some people do pray a lot, but the energy of their requests never actually leaves their own auric field. Simply put, sometimes our prayers are intercepted by negative influences. Negative Spirit Guides or negative attaching entities can snuff out or hijack our prayers, leaving us feeling unheard and unsupported by our spiritual resources. Our own negative thought forms can even counteract our positive prayer energy, effectively canceling out our requests.
The Prayer Mechanism
How does prayer actually work? Well, there are Beings available to each of us whose service to Spirit consists of transporting the energy of our prayers. They are called “White Lights” because that’s exactly what they look like – softball sized spheres of white light energy. Every once in a while, they show up in photographs.
When we issue a prayer request, it is these Beings who make sure that this energy is transported to the appropriate spiritual resources – the realms of the various Archangels, or other assisting organizations in Spirit, for example. The more we pray, the more we attract White Light beings to transport our prayers. Eventually, we begin attracting Blue Lights, which are like White Like beings on steroids. They travel faster, and prayers manifest more quickly once we’ve been gifted with Blue Lights.
If our prayers are “hijacked” by negative influences, they never reach our little White Light helpers. The energy of our prayers dissipates within our aura, going nowhere. Fewer and fewer White Lights become available to us, until we have none. This is not a permanent situation – we can attract White Light beings at any time by requesting them.
The Solution
Negative influences can never interfere with our intent. Free will is a powerful force, and if we consciously direct our prayers to the appropriate resources, we can be assured that the energy goes where it is intended. By consciously requesting the assistance of our White Light helpers, we can ensure that our prayers are effective.
The next time you pray, imagine placing the energy of your request into a White Light. Ask for that White Light to be surrounded by violet fire and ultra-violet light. This further protects your prayer from any negativity. Now ask the White Light to transport your prayer to the appropriate spiritual resources, in alignment with your highest path and purpose. Imagine the sphere of White Light zooming away into the Universe, carrying your prayer with it. Remember to let it go … after all, how our prayers are answered isn’t up to us!
If you feel that your prayers often go unheard, this simple visualization will prevent any possible negative influences from interfering with your request. Even if you feel your requests are usually answered, this technique may just super-charge your prayer practice!
Blessings,
Andrea

Hi Andrea
Once again you astound me with your ability to put the profound in such a way as it almost sounds mundane. The actual simplicity of the process of asking often goes by the by as it is all too obvious and simple and the mind loves to complicate matters, I know mine does anyway and I know that I have often pondered how to get the “prayer beings” to work with me as I know for a long time I had a deficit. As obvious as your information is for some reason it didn’t occur to me that it would be so easy, somehow I thought I would have to jump some hoops at least so thank you, another piece of the puzzle has locked in!
Hi Andrea, this is a very nice expansion on what we’ve learnt on White/Blue Lights in Soul Realignment work, thank you! I’ve personally felt the effectiveness of my prayers increase as the number of Lights go up, which is very very cool. I’ve seen these White Lights in photos often, but interestingly, never seen Blue ones. I wonder do they literally appear as blue bubbles in photos? Or are they just a subtle hue of blue around the edges?
Andrea, kewl word for me today, the one for the Anti-spam……Guidance……I hear it for myself as Guided Dance, the Dance of Life guided by a Committee, my G&G’s and this fits also so nicely with the power of white light guided prayers. Ever since doing the alignment with You my inner life has changed, has radiated in a way that maybe only I can see, feel, hear and know, yet, it is radiant. So many emotions have surfaced, some so unpleasent, and yet, so with the emotion comes divine understanding so quickly as I ask my prayer of Higher Self each day now and as I allow my G&G’s to help me understand, with deep knowing, where the emotion is based from, and how to work through it and proceed from that knowing to a new place. With the extraordinary powers of the white lights as the carry my prayers, the Committee is so efficient, so clear to me, so, well, I could go on and on, yet, the words are not enough. It is a feeling like I have never experienced before, except maybe as a child before I shut down my connections. Bless All ………..Selah………..
That’s a great technique, Andrea. I’ll definitely give it a try!
How does this fit in with setting intentions? Do you use this technique when you set intentions as well? (Do you see prayer and intentions as synonymous?).
“Now ask the White Light to transport your prayer to the appropriate spiritual resources, in alignment with your highest path and purpose. Imagine the sphere of White Light zooming away into the Universe, carrying your prayer with it.” This sounds like the express train to manifestation. I think I’ll use it with that cool video image of the Coors Light Silver Bullet train. Who says TV can’t be good for us?
What a cool visualization to make!! Thanks for sharing it! I’m definitely going to try applying it.
Hi Andrea, I love this article. I printed it out to re-read as many times as needed to bring me back to this new insight and understanding. It makes so much sense to me and really encourages my commitment to spend time in prayer daily. You have been and continue to be a tremendous support to my spiritual growth and transformation. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Warmly, Joyce
Hi Andrea,
I have to be honest: you and I have a different model for how the “universe” is put together. I can’t say that the terms you use above are in my vocabulary. And so what, right? Well, in days gone by, I would have read your post, enjoyed it to a limited extent, listened to the chatter in my mind, and gotten very little personal benefit from your writing. In other words, who loses? ME!
Quite spontaneously, I decided to “shut up and do what Andrea suggests.” So, I formed a prayer, wrapped it in white light, and sent it on it’s way. And guess what? What I noticed was that what you call prayer I think of as xxxxx. What you call white light, I call yyyyy. And when you say “Pray and put a white light around it” I would say A then B then C. I’m leaving out the terms because it doesn’t matter! I get it.
I could never have written the above. But what I would have written would have accomplished the same thing. You appeal to one type of person. Me to another. We use different lingo, but we are so very connected on a deeper level, sharing the same “intent” and consciousness. How cool is that?!
I guess that’s why I do enjoy reading your blog. I’ve always felt a warm fuzzy connection here. So, there you go. Thanks!
Oh, I forgot to mention that when I formed my prayer, wrapped it in white light, and sent it on its way, the light in me exploded and the energy of the whole thing made me flaming hot. I guess it worked, huh?
Robyn – Awesome. You are completely correct, we do make it more complicated than it needs to be at times! I think it’s because getting what we want can be pretty scary! It makes us so darn responsible!
Irene – Good question. I’m told that blue lights don’t show up in photos because they are a different level of frequency. I agree that prayer becomes more and more effective the more we use this tool! I’ve certainly noticed that, too.
Victoria – Wow! That’s really the root of all change – the shift of relationship within ourselves and with our Divinity. Those shifts DO radiate outward … what wonderful awareness you’re bringing to the process!
Mags – Another great question! To me, intentions are actually different than prayer. Intention is about our own clarity, about making our choices. Setting intentions is the internal process that precedes prayer. Prayer, then, is asking for spiritual assistance in manifesting those intentions! The two definitely go hand in hand – clear intentions make for clearer prayer requests!
Tom – It IS the express train to manifesting – hence “super-charged” prayer. And the more you do this, the quicker you eventually earn Blue Lights, and those are absolutely unreal! Isn’t it delicious, all these wonderful tools that are available to us?
Evelyn – Glad this resonated with you! Let us know how it works for you!
Joyce – Thank you so much!!! I think prayer is such an amazing and completely under-utilized resource, so I’m thrilled this motivated you in your daily practice. Just call me a “prayer geek” – I’m totally on a mission, here!:-)
Blessings,
Andrea
Interesting. Never heard prayers explained quite like this before but it makes sense. In my prayer time and meditation I’ve noticed one or two white lights occasionally (like stars). I’ve taken them to be the presence of my guides or angels. I’ll have to reconsider and put them to use with my prayers.
Thank you for the visualization and as always your expertise in the realm of spirit.
Blessings,
Pat – How great that you’ve seen your little White Light helpers! Let us know how it goes when you actively request them to transport your prayers!
Blessings,
Andrea
I get it, Andrea. I still don’t connect with the terms, but the effect is very cool. I’m gonna try it again!
Dear Andrea,
I had just read your first post about prayer and came in to comment and saw this post, which answered my question!
Also, I’ve realized that I’ve been sending prayers for healing and comfort for other people and not doing anything for myself!
I just sent off four prayer requests in the blue lights – and how joyful they were to be utilized! In fact, when I began to focus on the first prayer request, the blue light was right there, waiting to be filled and sent!
Thank you for this clarity.

Hi Andrea,
Several years ago I had a friend I prayed for intently. He told me the first night I prayed there was a blue ball of light in his room and the second night there was a green ball of light. What is your take on this?
Thanks,
Debra
Can I raise my hand and pipe up in response to Debra’s question? (It’s a topic I love to talk about…)
Debra,
You probably know the relationship between angels and prayers, that they are the messengers… Many people are angel intuitive and experience the manifestation in a very noticeable physical way. Balls of light or orbs are one of the most common ways that people report seeing angels, and the different colors perceived are energy signatures, identifying the various types of angels or archangelic realms at work.
There are more angelic blues than any other color — but some of the color meanings that may be relevant to your prayer for your friend include healing and calming emotional issues that may be blocking someone’s progress. The angel Uriel is often involved, with specialties including revitalization and fresh starts.
Greens are generally associated with Capricorn, the planet Saturn, and the angel Nadiel and overcoming challenges to find peace and serenity.
Those are just a few things that came through to me when I read your comment. There is a lot of deeper lore concerning angelic lights and colors and potential meanings, too much for a comment here, but I hope you find this relevant and that it affirms the power of your prayers for your friend and his receptivity.
Fantastic, Slade! Angelic lights is definitely NOT my area of expertise, I sense angelic beings differently, so this was perfect!
Blessings,
Andrea
Thanks Slade. Your comment was perfect. I’d come to that conclusion over the years but confirmation is always great and you “fleshed out” a few more things for me. Over the last few years more and more pictures I’ve been in have had orbs in them.
Andrea,
I didn’t realize they where waiting for prayers, they hover around mostly toward the ceiling and then they are gone after a short time. I thought they where spirits. My son tried to take pictures of them once and did OK, they kind of look like water spots on film… but they are more vibrant and visual in real life. I’ve not seen blue… maybe a bluish hue? Generally milky white like putting water in a glass just after milk was in it. Hehehe… they feel good so I’ve never worried about them. I have noticed a new milky unshaped entity since I’ve been clearing my living space and surrounding of all negative energy daily.. It feels pleasant and loving so once again I haven’t done anything with it. Today… this morning I saw it in its usual spot and really looked at it. I raised my vibration to share the love and it hasn’t been back. I kind of liked it and wanted to share it with others in the family. But awe well! Any ideas as to what that may have been? I’m thinking a visitor of a positive nature. They seem to enjoy staying closer to the ceiling. And I also noticed you need proper lighting to see them… If it’s too dark they are hard to see. I did want to thank you for your generous website… I did end up purchasing the e-book we discussed, it was good. I was looking for a little more but that’s OK. Your other book should be coming soon. I’m using the techniques for small stuff as you stated and look forward to growing from there. There message I’m trying to clarify is “Just wait, let things unfold and be patient”. I don’t have much patience so this has forced me to wait. I thoroughly enjoy your booklet on spirit guides. Thank you Andrea and I wish you a very blessed day!
Michelle
I see white and blue lights most of my waking time. The blue lights look like a smaller version of a Xenon head light that pings up in a white/blue hue then disappears or moves across my peripheral vision really quickly. The white lights are small white dots or pings of white light that appear then move and disappear. I usually see dark ones too then again I see them in red and purple too. Thats just my pennies worth. Thanks for the blog.
