One of the benchmarks of attaining a high level of spiritual development is undoubtedly the art of levitation. Spontaneous levitation occurs when the vibration held within the physical body is so high that there is an actual shift in its molecular structure. The body, for a few moments, becomes lighter than matter. As we begin the practice of conscious levitation, we may only attain this feat for a few seconds. With continued effort, we can eventually maintain this elevated state for minutes or even hours at a time.
I have found the following process an effective method to induce levitation. You may wish to remove your shoes before starting this practice, and make sure that you have an even, soft surface available to land on.
Place a natural light source, such as a candle, directly above your head. Special attachments to secure a candle safely to your ceiling can be purchased through my website. With the candle lit directly above you, stand up and do the following:
- Chant the syllable “om†ten times.
- Clap your hands four times.
- Chant the syllable “om†fifteen times.
- Turn around clockwise, five times.
- Chant the syllable “om†twenty times.
- Turn around counterclockwise, six times.
This process activates the latent energetic qualities within the body that will allow it to transcend gravity.
Next, sit comfortably and gaze directly up into the candle. Take one hundred slow, relaxed breaths, breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth. Allow the light of the candle to infuse your being. By your last breath, you should find yourself begin to float upward. Maintain focus on the candle to stay aloft.
This process was traditionally done at noon, outside, using the sun itself as the natural light source. However, it is not recommended for the beginning practitioner to attempt this process outdoors. Please do this process for the first time in a room with a relatively low ceiling. Otherwise, particularly gifted individuals may find themselves rising ten or twenty feet into the air. Bodily injury may result from this practice. Please take all necessary precautions to cushion an eventual fall. Happy April Fools’ Day.
Blessings,
Andrea

Wow, is this for real?
Definitely not! The “Happy April Fools’ Day” was the big tip-off. I, for one, think that spiritual development doesn’t have to take itself so seriously all the time
